Nu pleci de la PUTAN CLUB ca de la un concert obișnuit. Rămâi cam dat peste cap, cu senzația că ai văzut ceva greu de explicat și greu de uitat. E genul de show care nu cere voie, nu face frumos și nu seamănă cu nimic. Nu e doar un concert de bifat, pentru că lovește altfel și se simte.
PUTAN CLUB este o formație cu totul aparte, caracterizată prin soundul agresiv, performance-ul masiv, dar și prin stilul de viață care se bazează cel mai mult pe călătorie, aflandu-se în actualul turneu încă de la începutul anului. Gianna (bass/voce) și Francois (chitară/voce) călătoresc mai tot timpul anului și nu-și mai pot aminti câte concerte sau kilometri au parcurs, dar locurile pe care le-au vizitat, oamenii pe care i-au întâlnit, munca pe care o depun și speranța într-o societate mai bună și mai justă sunt sursa de inspirație pentru muzica lor.

PUTAN CLUB este conceput ca o celulă de rezistență, caracterizată printr-un mod de acțiune (acțiuni în forță în diverse locații) foarte similar cu primele conspirații ale partizanilor europeni din timpul celui de-al Doilea Război Mondial și practicat acum de oponenții din întreaga lume. Rezistența este organizată folosind mijloacele arhaice și imediate ale secolului nostru: voci electrice și zvonuri, tancuri și cuvinte alese cu grijă, precum picturile rupestre și cel mai îndrăzneț conceptualism, avant-rock și muzică clasică contemporană, sălbăticie tribală feroce și cel mai brutal techno, un sărut pe gură și un șut în fund...
PUTAN CLUB nu aparține niciunei biserici (rock, world, techno, jazz, avant, etno sau orice altceva), dar își revendică dreptul de a fi toate acestea și chiar mai mult. Și a dovedit-o, de la Laâyoune la Beijing.În cele din urmă, PUTAN CLUB colaborează în mod regulat cu alți demoni precum Lydia Lunch, Eugene S. Robinson, Lotfi Bouchnak, Denis Lavant și alți șamani și vindecători din Asia și Africa.
Cu o medie de peste 150 de concerte pe an și peste 1500 de concerte de la înființarea sa, în Europa, Africa, Oceania, America, Asia și Asia Centrală, precum și la numeroase festivaluri internaționale precum Bazant Pohoda (SK), Amplifest (PT), Moers (D), Tomorrow Fest (PRC), Tallinn Music Week (ES), Milhoes (PT), Croisements festival (PRC), Pikipop (FIN), Tam-Tam (HR), PUTAN CLUB rămâne iconoclast, groovy și hotărât feminist-revoluționar.

« How did we miss this? A band is taking the roof off the venue. Like a crush collusion between Young Gods, NIN, and even the early Ants when things get tribal with their more chanting ethno vocals and big rhymes, Putan Club have an astonishing and original sound and the live show is enormous. The audience is transfixed by the Italian/French two-piece who are so perfect and so stunning that you stand there open-mouthed at their brilliance. Putan Club are a stunning revelation. A medusa curls haired woman dealing bass filth with a perfect groove and a bequiffed man on guitar twitching with expectation. They then literally just explode. Their computer takes up the rhythm chores and the seering catchy riffs are delivered with a noisenik venom and raw power. There is the clank and grind of INDUSTRIAL and the forward vision of POST-PUNK and an almighty groove of DEATH DISCO which bites into RAW AFRICA then crunch into PRIMARY SAVAGERY.
