PUTAN CLUB — це не гурт у традиційному розумінні, а радше звуковий ритуал, перформанс і досвід спільної присутності. Дует Франсуа Р. Камбюза (гітара, електроніка, голос) та Джанни Ґреко (бас, електроніка, голос) створює радикальну суміш індастріалу, постпанку, техно, етнічних ритмів і авангардного року, яка не належить до жодної сцени — і водночас належить до всіх одразу.
PUTAN CLUB принципово відмовляються від жанрових «церков». Їхня музика — це одночасно рок, техно, перформанс, шаманський ритуал і політичний жест. Вони довели це сотнями концертів по всьому світу — від Лааюнa до Пекіна, виступаючи понад 150 разів на рік у Європі, Америці, Африці, Океанії, Китаї та Центральній Азії.
Гурт регулярно співпрацює з культовими постатями радикальної сцени, серед яких Lydia Lunch, Eugene S. Robinson, Lotfi Bouchnak, Denis Lavant, а також митці й музиканти з Азії та Африки.
Живі виступи PUTAN CLUB — це не концерт, а занурення. Музиканти часто розташовуються серед публіки або розділяють простір із нею, руйнуючи межу між сценою та залом. Світло спрямоване не лише на виконавців, а й на слухачів — кожен стає учасником події. Кожен виступ — унікальний, неповторний і фізично відчутний досвід.
